Major milestones for the last month include:
- Tooth #2 arrived.
- She learned to roll from back to front.
- She learned to roll from back to front while swaddled (I'm not joking about this)
- She learned to sit up by herself.
- She took her first trip to SK to see her grandparents and meet some cousins.
She is currently working on making fish faces, making clicking noises with her tongue and making the "buh" sound non-stop. I wish she would work on sleeping longer during the night, but right now a good night is one where she doesn't wake up every 2 hours. She has tasted a couple different foods but until this heat wave passes there won't be a lot of foods that she can try being served. (D keeps asking if we can give her raw veggies and we have to explain that she can't eat raw carrots yet.) She is also starting to move around and even gets her butt in the air sometimes. I really hope she won't add crawling to her list of accomplishments at 7 months.
C.S. being 6 months old also means that D.G.'s parental leave is over next week and I have to figure out how to manage by myself. Not sure how that's going to go, but "normal" people seem to handle things just fine. I have been worried about this for the last 2 months so hopefully it's yet another case of the anticipation being worse than the actual event.
